This Privacy Statement applies to how Van Berlo B.V., located at Doornhoek 3715 in Veghel, processes personal data. Hereinafter referred to as “Van Berlo” and/or “we”. Van Berlo respects the privacy of all persons who visit its website www.vanberlo.com and ensures that the personal data you provide to us is treated confidentially. The purpose of this privacy statement is to inform you how we collect, process and store your personal data. Van Berlo processes your personal data because you use or have used our products or services and because you have provided that information to us (e.g. on our website).

What personal data we collect



When you fill in the online application form or leave your e-mail address to subscribe to our trade journal Technisch Vakblad new on www.vanberlo.com, we collect and store your name, e-mail address, and any other personal information in your resume. When you purchase our products, make use of our services or visit our website, we will not purposefully collect data on website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. We do not, however, have the capability to verify the age of individual website visitors. That is why we recommend that parents monitor the online activities of their children in order to avoid that personal data of minors is collected without parental consent. If you have the strong suspicion that we have collected personal data about a minor without parental consent, please contact us at info@vanberlo.com so that we can delete the information.

Your personal data rights



You have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw or limit any consent previously given to process your data, or to object to your personal data being processed by Van Berlo, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can send us a request to transmit the personal data we hold on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

You can submit your request for access, rectification, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@vanberlo.com. To be absolutely certain that you are the person submitting the request, we do ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity along with the request. Please be sure to black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the legality of processing the data based on the consent prior to the withdrawal. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks. We would also like to inform you that you have the option to submit an official complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Van Berlo may change, modify and add to this Privacy Statement for various reasons. You are welcome to consult this Privacy Statement at any time so that you remain informed.
