Ongoing scientific research is our foundation for innovation. It enables Van Berlo to push the boundaries of logistics flooring; large surfaces with rock-solid performance. We continuously collect data from production to use.

Our concrete lab, our software, our machines
Besides developing concrete technology, we also develop our own software and machines that go further that the assumed limitations in the market. What we calculate and develop in the lab also performs in practice.

Van Berlo does ongoing research in the following areas

Sustainability: reduced CO₂ emissions during production.
Crack resistance: we can prevent 100% of shrinkage crack.
Wear: with a 20-year warranty, we guarantee the result.
Circularity: secondary building materials are blended into our concrete mix.
Workability: concrete that performs better on the building site.
