Duties and responsibilities

Van Berlo produces approximately 2 million square metres of industrial floors every year. We deliver very level floors on time with great commitment to our profession.
Our colleagues are early birds. After drinking coffee at our Veghel home base at five in the morning, they are dispatched to work locations in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. As part of a team of 5 or 6 people, you will be responsible for pouring a new industrial floor every day. This requires strong teamwork. We will teach you to perform all the activities required within the team, such as operating the pump hose, the needle vibrator and the levellers.

You will realise that this is a true profession and you will become proud of your work.

At the end of the day, you will look at the smooth finish with satisfaction, and you will see our clients smile as well.

Competences, knowledge and skills

• Lower or senior secondary vocational education (LBO/MBO) level of understanding and working
• In possession of a valid driving licence, category BE
• Technical and general knowledge relating to controlling and operating machinery
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and quality standards in the sector (basic VCA certificate, although if you don’t have this certificate you can obtain it on the job).

Within our Industrial Floors, Engineering, Foundation Technology, Modular Foundations and Prefab Concrete divisions, we constantly utilise state-of-the-art technology in order to provide our customers with added value.
